  • Seven Studios is located at 141 Rocky Lane, Birmingham, B7 5ES, just outside the Clean Air Zone.

    We’re near Junction 6 (Spaghetti Junction/A38) and around five minutes from Birmingham City Centre.

  • Yes, you’ll have two allocated parking spaces in a secure gated car park, with direct access to the studio.

  • Unfortunately, the studio can only be accessed by stairs.

  • The minimum booking slot is 2 hours.

    • Motorised backdrop system with 2.7 m paper rolls in nude, white & black

    • Bluetooth speaker and Wi-Fi

    • Clothing rail, hangers & steamer

    • Changing area

    • Central heating with additional heaters & fans

    • Desk area & tea/coffee station

    • Full use of all lighting & stands

    Please note: cameras and photographers are not included in studio hire.

    • 1 × 90 cm Octabox

    • 2 × 60×90 cm Softboxes

    • C-Stand with boom arm & grip head

    • Reflectors in various colours and sizes

    • Wireless triggers for Canon, Nikon & Sony

    • 18″ Ring Light

    • Tripod with phone and camera mounts

    • Coloured gels & diffusers

    All lighting will be set up for you on request.

  • The studio is 1,012 sqft (94 sqm). An open-plan space with high ceilings.

  • Yes! The studio benefits from 7 large windows that let in natural light throughout the day.

  • Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own lighting, props or furniture to suit your creative vision.

    Please handle everything with care and return the studio to its original condition after use.

  • Seven Studios is self-service but we will set up your lighting prior to your session. If you’d like an assistant during your session, this can be arranged in advance for an additional fee.

  • While Seven Studios is a self-hire space, we can recommend trusted photographers and videographers if you’d like professional support for your shoot. We also have an in house photographer that specialises in Maternity, Newborn and Family photography.

  • Yes, we welcome regular bookings and brand collaborations.

    If you’d like to reserve a fixed slot weekly or monthly, contact us to discuss a tailored package.

  • Yes! The space can be adapted for small events, workshops or brand activations.

  • Yes, if the studio is available, you can extend your booking by one hour or more.

    Please let us know as soon as possible so we can confirm availability and any additional cost.

  • For your first visit, someone will meet you on-site and show you around.

    For future bookings, you’ll receive door-code access so you can let yourself in and out.

  • Of course! Wi-Fi is available throughout your booking.

  • Yes — there’s a private toilet inside the studio for your use.

  • Unfortunately not, while it’s private and quiet, there may occasionally be some sound from the main road.

    You’re free to play music as loud as you want or record, as there are no neighbouring businesses in the building.

  • Bookings are non-refundable, but you can reschedule as long as it’s more than 48 hours before your session.

  • We’re located next to BluLoc Self Storage containers on Rocky Lane.
